Kathie was worried that she’d either have to lug her ancient Dell over to Paris or rely on my notebook – and me being at home – in order to communicate with the world. Well, that problem is now solved.
After reading a lot of reviews I bought a netbook for my baby – hence the new name for it: babybook. Here’s Kathie with her new babybook – an Acer One 10.1” netbook.
It’s hard to tell the difference in size but it’s pretty apparent in the picture below of the ancient Dell and the new babybook. Wi-fi ready, 160Gb hard drive, 1Gb memory and Windows XP (not Vista thankfully!) all for less than $400 from Costco. Not bad!
